Texas Coast Poodles and Doodles is a small in-home breeder of toy/miniature poodles and petite mini goldendoodles located by the beautiful Texas Coast just north of Corpus Christi. We strive to breed beautiful, healthy, and loving dogs. All of our litters are raised using the Puppy Culture curriculum INSIDE our home completing early neurological stimulation and learning socialization. All of our adult dogs have been health tested and sleep in our master bedroom as distinguished members of our family. This makes us different than large scale breeders as our puppies are truly a part of our family until they become a part of yours.
Puppy Adoption
How We Do Things
- Our ultimate goal as breeders is to provide healthy, happy, well-socialized family pets. We raise our puppies using a combination of Puppy Culture curriculum, BAB curriculum, and lots of love. In addition to early neurological stimulation and socialization, our puppies are also started on potty training and crate training.
- All of our adult dogs have been DNA health tested so that we can be confident that we are producing healthy puppies that will not be affected by any genetically testable diseases. All of our puppies will be examined by a veterinarian, dewormed, and receive age appropriate vaccinations before pick up. Our poodles all have their tails docked to 2/3 length but we leave our doodle tails natural. We do not remove dew claws on any pups. We do not guarantee adult color/coat type or size but we try our best to give you an accurate estimate.
- Our puppy prices start at $1900. We keep a running waiting list for each breed in order of first contact and approved questionnaire submission. We generally allow puppy selections for individual litters starting at around 3 weeks of age. At the time of selection, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a pup. The final balance is due on or before pick up. Please contact us through email, phone, or facebook messenger for specific puppy pricing if it is not listed on our puppies tab. Our puppies are listed at pet prices and are sold with a strict spay/neuter contract unless otherwise discussed.
- For safety and health reasons we do not allow visitors in our home to meet puppies before pick up but we are happy to send weekly photos and videos. Each of our puppies go home with a Puppy Pack that includes a folder for paperwork, puppy food to get you started, a personalized blanket that smells like mom, and lots of other goodies.
-We love to stay in contact with our new puppy owners and encourage you to send us photos of them as they grow. Please contact us for a questionnaire if you would like to join our wait-list! We hope that your new best friend will come from our home to yours.

About Me
Hi! I'm Rachel- owner of Texas Coast Poodles and Doodles! I am a pharmacist by training but am blessed to be a (mostly) stay-at-home-mom by choice. I have owned and loved dogs all my life- and breeding them has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. My husband and 3 children are a huge part of our operation and they all absolutely adore having so many dogs as a part of our family. I care deeply about the health and happiness of my puppies and am very careful to ensure they are placed in loving, forever homes. Besides dogs, my other interests include house plants, genetics, gardening, Mexican food, all things Disney, and the beach!

All the information that Rachel provides on her site is 100% accurate. We were given updates, pictures, videos, and she answered all our questions. We have a girl!! Her name is Suki Sunshine. Where to even begin. Rachel and her family are absolutely the best breeders you could ever encounter. From the very start of the process, to current day they are so helpful and communicative.
We got weekly pup dates that included videos and pictures which made the whole process seem so personal. You could tell their family loves each one of these puppies just as much as the other and that your fur baby was in good hands. When we finally got to pick out our little guy, Rachel immediately asked if we had a name in mind so she could start calling him that, how awesome is that! Beyond their awesome customer service and nurturing ways, the puppies they breed are absolutely stunning and super smart.
Our little Bogey &, aside from being the sweetest little guy, was so easy to train! He is currently 15 months now and he is fully potty trained, can sit, lay, shake, & kiss on command. He loves to cuddle with Mommy and play ball and chase with Daddy, he is truly our biggest blessing! Get on that waitlist now, you won't regret it!!

My experience with Texas Coast Poodles & Doodles and Rachel is one I will never forget! The process of receiving my Miller was so easy. He was the last little puppy left and I couldn't pass him up after searching for 2 years for what I wanted to be my little puppy. I was expecting to have to do much tending to like poppy training right away when I got him. Although, that wasn't the case. Miller knew exactly what to do after just one night of getting used to his new home. I give that all to Mrs. Rachel and her family on how they tend to the puppies before they are off to a new home. He is the best dog I could ask for. Loves to play and especially with our other dogs. Very well behaved never had a problem with him. Most loving and cuddly dog and I give that all to her for how she goes through the process to hand off the sweetest babies to new family's. Miller was my first dog that wasn't the "family's dog." So l had lots of questions especially with Miller being my first "doodle" hair like every review Mrs. Rachel answered all those questions for me right away so l knew exactly what to do. Miller came with a little package as we headed home that Mrs. Rachel puts together so they are comfortable. Some food to start with, bowls, Blankey that smells like his/her sibling and mom, etc. She gets you all set so you are ready to head home with your pup. Over all was the best experience and still is as I text her updates of miller and still ask questions even a year later.

I don't know where to start.. but would like to thank Rachel from the bottom of my heart for giving me such a wonderful pup! He is the most amazing puppy that I have seen by far... Being a first time dog mom, I was really worried after deciding to get a pup listening to all the stories from my friends and acquaintances.. But getting this pup has changed our life forever! He is such a sweet dog.. calm, smart, caring and wonderful puppy... This shows the care and effort Rachel and her family has put into taking care of these puppies... Finding Rachel with Texas Coast Poodles & Doodles has been such a blessing. From the initial contact through pick up, Rachel was very helpful and professional. There was great, clear communication leaving nothing to question or that scammy feeling that so many other breeders gave us.
